I can’t wait to share all about this trip with your after I am back.

For now, here is a photo diary with just a sampling of my first few days in Costa Rica! More to come in a few weeks!

Revealed: I'm Also Road Tripping Sweden To Norway

It’s the big reveal post! If you didn’t guess it last time, now you know that I flew to Sweden from Greece. Carolina and I planned a road trip from the Stockholm airport into Norway. Our main destination was actually Norway, but we also passed through parts of Sweden to get there.

Carolina’s daughter is on this trip with us. She is adorable and it’s fun to have some kid energy. I’ve never traveled with a child before! I am excited to write about what that has been like. I am sure my readers who travel with children will be especially interested, particularly because we are camping and hiking, too.

This post is just a quick little update and to share a few initial photos. Get a sneak peek at what’s to come.

I'm in Namibia! A Photographic Sneak Peak

For the first time in over 2 years, I am overseas traveling a new continent—Africa! Specifically, I am traveling the lovely little country of Namibia (not to be confused with Nambia, Trump's incorrect pronunciation of it).

Namibia has stunning natural landscapes and the wildlife sightings happen left and right without even trying! I fly to South Africa next to see the "Big 5" on safari, but I've already felt incredibly fulfilled by all the wildlife and nature I have seen.

My first stop in Namibia was the Cheetah Conservation Fund. Then I camped in the Sossusvlei region which has the tallest sand dunes in the world and a really unique place to take photographs of 700 year old sun-scorched trees. It's been an amazing trip already and I'm only 1 week into it! Here's a sneak photographic peak at Namibia...

Happy July 4th! A Peek at My Arizona-Utah Trip!

I am writing right now from Utah!

I will be here for another few hours and then I am heading back to Arizona to celebrate our nation's Independence. There really has been no better way to celebrate the USA's birthday than to visit some of our nation's most spectacular national parks (and more).

During this trip, I have also had the chance to reflect on what Independence Day might mean to other groups in America, such as the Diné (Navajo people) and other local tribes indigenous to Northern Arizona and Southern Utah.

Soon I will write all about my experiences road tripping from Flagstaff to St. George and back. But before I do, the following is a little photographic teaser. In two weeks, look out for a regular post about this trip (with all the trappings)!
